Lessons & Learning

We specialise exclusively in automatic driving lessons. Automatic cars remove the complexity of gear changes, so you can focus entirely on road awareness, hazard perception and building confidence behind the wheel.
This varies depending on your starting experience and how quickly you progress. On average, learner drivers require around 40–45 hours of professional tuition. Some students need fewer lessons, others may need more — we tailor lessons to your pace and never rush you.
Absolutely! We welcome complete beginners. Our instructor is calm, patient and experienced in teaching learners from scratch. You will never feel pressured to progress faster than you're comfortable with.
Our standard lessons are 2 hours long. Longer lessons are more productive as they give you more time on the road and allow you to build on skills within a single session. We do not currently offer 1-hour lessons.
Yes! We offer block bookings which can be structured as an intensive or semi-intensive course. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and availability.
Yes, we welcome students who have had previous lessons with other instructors. We'll assess where you are and build from there. Whether you're a beginner, mid-way through learning, or preparing for your test, we can help.

Pricing & Booking

A standard 2-hour lesson costs £65. Test day cover (use of the car on your test day plus a warm-up lesson) is £120. Block booking discounts are available — please enquire for details.
We currently accept cash payments only. Payment is required in advance from the second lesson onwards to secure your booking. A confirmation will be provided once payment is received.
Simply fill out the application form on our homepage. We'll get back to you as soon as possible to discuss availability and get you started.
Yes! Block bookings are available at a discounted rate compared to paying per lesson. Contact us to find out more about our current block booking deals.

Driving Test & Licensing

Before your first lesson you must have a valid provisional driving licence. You can apply for one on the GOV.UK website. You must also be at least 17 years old.
You don't need to pass your theory test before taking lessons, but you must pass it before you can book your practical driving test. We recommend starting to study for your theory test early on in your lessons.
We cover the following DVSA test centres: Chingford, Hornchurch, Goodmayes and Wanstead. Our instructor has excellent local knowledge of the test routes at each centre.
Yes! Our Test Day package (£120) includes use of our automatic car on your test day, plus a warm-up lesson beforehand to help settle your nerves and refresh key skills before you go in.
No — if you pass your test in an automatic car, your licence will be restricted to automatic vehicles only. If you want to drive manual cars in the future, you would need to take a further test in a manual vehicle. For many people, automatic-only is perfectly fine.
